Lakya Hunter, Administrator

Lakya graduated from The University of Toledo with a Bachelor of Social Work in 2014, and has been working alongside her mother ever since. Lakya decided to further her education and graduated from Case Western University in 2016 with a Master’s degree in Science and Social Administration, specializing in children, youth and families. Being a life-long learner, Lakya has also completed required courses and received a certificate in Management and Leadership. Lakya has had a deep affection for children her entire life, and in her younger years started off helping her mother in the aid of foster children. "I love working with children because I feel they are the most vulnerable and the most resilient beings on earth. We can help shape their future by providing support and listening to their cries; family plays a major part in a child’s development and mental health.”
